Although, it is one of the responsibilities of the Steward, each member is ultimately responsible for calling in their lay-off to the Union Hall. Each member should promptly call the Dispatcher with the name of the jobsite, the name of the contractor, the shift they were laid off from, the day of week they were laid off, and date of their lay off. This can be done during and after hours by calling 215-785-5536. Each member should also double check during office hours to make sure that the lay off information got to the Dispatcher.
Our Business Hours are 7:00-4:00 PM, however if we have jobs to fill and we are still manning work it can be later.
The dispatcher normally begins to dispatch jobs at 2:00 PM. If there is an emergency call, or if a job has to be filled immediately, it may be sooner or later than 2:00 PM.
It is the duty of all members to pay their Union Dues on time. Union Dues are due on the first day of each month.
Click Here for a listing of acceptable identification. Choose one from list "A" or one from list "B" and one from list "C". Two forms of identification are needed to be legally hired by a contractor. If you do not have the correct forms the contractor will not hire you.
Monthly Union dues are currently $54.20 per month.
Monthly Dues will increase to $57.70 per month effective February 1, 2023
If Union Dues go sixty (60) days in arrears you will be in danger of being suspended. A $500 reinstatement fee will be imposed if you are suspended.
If it is time to renew your TWIC Card we advise that you start the renewal process at least 90 days before your expiration and the process will be the same as the initial application.
As of February 1, 2015, Initial or Renewal 5 year TWIC Card will cost $128.00. The 3 year Twic card is no longer an option.

Remember, it is a requirement to gain access to all refineries in our territory. Unfortunately, this fee will not be reimbursed by Local #13 or the MOST office. Upon receipt of your new card, kindly make a copy and forward it to our office. This will help to update the records in our office and your MOST profile.
