MISSION STATEMENT

The Boilermakers Union, as with other labor organizations, was born of the ideal that we are stronger united than divided. Many of the conditions that we now enjoy in the workplace were achieved not simply through will, but through a partnership between labor and government. The Boilermakers Local 13 Political Action Committee was formed to actively support state-level policymakers that share our vision of striving to improve the daily lives of working families.

We support those individuals and groups that fight for improved workplace conditions; believe in a living wage; believe in affordable access to healthcare; and believe in the right of every worker to join a union without fear or intimidation. Through regular monitoring of relevant legislation and news, active communication with our respective policymakers, and participation of our local members, we can ensure that the future of everyday workers is not only secure but full of promise.
