Local 13 Endorses Allyson Schwartz for Governor - (6/3/2013)
Today, we are pleased to announce our endorsement of Allyson Schwartz's candidacy for governor of Pennsylvania. Throughout her time in Congress, Allyson has been a tireless advocate for workers in Pennsylvania and across the country. She has worked to strengthen worker protections through the NLRB and OSHA, expand the availability of health care, invest in our infrastructure and education, and reinforce the right of workers to organize and collectively bargain.
Currently, Pennsylvania faces a number of challenges, including elevated unemployment, underfunded schools, and deteriorating roads and bridges.
